Splashes of unlikely color peeked out at J.Crew's presentation—orange striped sweaters, lemon-colored oxford shirts, chartreuse shorts, Pollock-esque paint-splattered shorts—throwing a few twists into this otherwise dependably smart collection for the modern man. Lightweight suits, suede deck shoes, and sea-ready outerwear were the highlights, proving once again that Frank Muytjens and Co. see the warmer months with clarity.
